Is anatomy and physiology harder than nursing school?
A&P and Micro are hard, just in different ways than nursing. It’s more rote memorization vs application. I had more trouble with A&P than I did with anything in my first year of nursing. Don’t let yourself get caught in the nursing student bubble.
Is A&P 1 or 2 harder?
If you don’t take some time for yourself to relax and refresh yourself, A&P 2 won’t be so easy for you. Attend to “real” life. A&P 1 was more rigorous and time-consuming than you thought it was going to be. You found yourself putting friends and family “on hold” while you focused on keeping your head above water.
What is harder anatomy or physiology?
Anatomy is almost entirely memorization, whereas physiology is more focused on learning concepts, so if that suits your learning style you’ll probably find that it’s much easier than anatomy.
What is easier microbiology or anatomy and physiology?
For most students, Anatomy is the easiest of the three courses, followed by Microbiology (harder), and Physiology (hardest). The majority of our students are better at memorization than with critical thinking and conceptual material.
