How many times can you apply for the same college?
Yes, you can apply to a college as many times as you would like. The downside to applying multiple times though is that every time you apply you will have to pay the application fee which can range anywhere from $50-$150, depending on what school you are applying for.
Can I change my college essay?
You can make any number of changes to your Common App essay — and any other component of your application — once you’ve submitted it. If you want to make changes to an essay you’ve already submitted to an institution, you will need to contact that school’s admissions office to see if it’s possible.
Do you have to tell other colleges I’m not going there?
Let the college know as soon as you choose not to attend. This is a common courtesy not only to the school, but also to other prospective students who may be on the waiting list.
Do I have to reject colleges?
However, accepting admission isn’t the only task you have to complete. If you applied to and were accepted at other colleges, then you need to decline admission to those colleges so they can offer your spot to other students on their waiting lists.
