DDO is one of the most solo friendly multi-player games I have personally played. With the exception of a few Raids and perhaps a few Challenges, a solo player can complete every Quest, find every Explorer, finish every Monster Manual milestone, acquire every Reaper Point, and earn every Past Life Feat.

It’s still alive. Not as populated as it once was, but if you find a good guild especially it’s got enough activity. New content is still being rolled out frequently; there’s even a new expansion coming out soon (sharn hype!).
