What do YAGP winners get?
Participants competed in front of judges from top international institutions and won $300,000 in scholarships, job offers and the coveted notoriety of first place. YAGP is the only major dance competition that has continued giving dancers a chance to perform live on stage throughout the pandemic.
Who qualifies for YAGP finals?
Selection for the YAGP Finals – NEW! YAGP is open to dance students of all nationalities, ages 9 -19 years old. Students younger or older may participate in the Ensemble or Pas de Deux category, as long as the average age of the dancers in the ensemble or Pas de Deux falls between ages 9 and 19.

What is a YAGP ambassador?
Through this unique program, YAGP aims to inspire and uplift the global dance community by celebrating its alumni – the outstanding young dance artists who are ready to go beyond dance performance and would like to share their passion, dedication and inspiration with others.
How much does it cost to do YAGP?
IN ORDER TO RESERVE SPACE AT ANY LOCATION, YAGP MUST RECEIVE THE REGISTRATION FEE DEPOSIT OF $95 per dancer, per location. (Attention! The $95 Registration fees include a $50 non-refundable processing fees).
What is the Hope Award in YAGP?
The Hope Award is given for the best overall performance in the Pre-Competitive Age division. These awards are given to the dancers who, by the consensus of the YAGP jury panel, have exceeded all other dancers in their age division in both the Classical Ballet and Contemporary/Open Dance categories.
