What age is best for ISR?
Generally speaking, children ages 6 months to 1 year learn the ISR Self-Rescue® skill of rolling onto their backs to float, rest and breathe. They learn to maintain this position until help arrives.

What is ISR experience?
ISR provides rigorous training in the water to equip children with critical self-rescue skills in case they are ever submerged in water without supervision. ISR instructors and the children they train work very hard for six weeks, but there isn’t a specific end-goal and the work of ISR is never fully complete.
