How do I save ED-E?
A simple fix is to go back to the Divide and then leave again, but strangely enough, the player can have 3 companions at once during this glitch. Attack ED-E just outside the entrance to the Divide long enough to knock him unconscious, then exit the Divide.
How do I get into the Vault 34 equipment room?
To access the armory, two passwords from two ghoul engineers that are in submerged areas must be found. Then a terminal must be used to pump water out of a flooded area and a second terminal will be used to unlock the overseer’s door.
Can you upgrade ED-E?
Get contacted by the Brotherood of Steel and the Followers of the Apocalypse. Give ED-E to the Brotherhood or Followers at the Hidden Valley bunker or the Old Mormon Fort. They will either upgrade his armor or weapons, respectively. After three in-game days, the upgraded ED-E will return to Primm.
Can I get ED-E back?

Are there people in Vault 34?
Vault 34 dwellers are the last surviving non-ghoul residents of Vault 34 still inside in 2281.
How do you drain Vault 34?
Straight down at the bottom is another dead glowing ghoul ‘vault technician’ under another desk with the Vault 34 utility terminal password. Use this on the computer in the Utility room to drain the water from that same flooded area and gain access to the Security Room.
Where is ED-E after dismissed?
If ED-E is ever frenzied, it will become hostile if dismissed as a companion and returned to Primm. The only exception is if it is sent to be upgraded. After a few days, ED-E should be willing to go with the player character again, found roaming around Primm instead of inside the Mojave Express.
How do I trigger Edes quest?
To trigger the first message, talk to any one of the following: Old Lady Gibson at the Gibson scrap yard. (If her conversation options have already been gone through before starting this quest, talking to her will no longer trigger this message.)
