Why did the Hillsboro outlets close?
Two stores, Pac Sun and Aéropostale, are set to close soon because their corporate entities filing for bankruptcy. Without them, the shopping center will only have 20 occupied stores out of 86 total store spaces. Residents such as Tyler Ketchum said the lack of businesses is hurting economic development for the town.
