We recorded the whole session at the Funkhaus (Berlin), which is a huge old Studio Complex in Berlin. It was built in the 50's. Everything for East Germany was recorded here.

It's essential for me to work with people I have a strong personal connection to, since we're all pretty passionate about what we're doing and sharing parts of our social life.

So these days, I see all this vanity, materialism and egotism in the cut, and it kind of disturbs me. I mean, I get it. It's popular now, it's rock & roll and it's still about having fun.

I listened to rock and punk music but also to the ambient record collection of my parents. That might had the biggest influence on me 'till I explored Kraftwerk.

I find attitudes inspiring and I hope one day mine proves to be too for other people. These Days and Ibadan Records artist Argy featured.
