The film and television industries have not been able to help themselves trying to portray our small sub-cultural tribe time and time again. Commentary by Pablo Roman-Alcala.

I am somewhat lazy of nature. Tending to a coal oven doesn’t sound fun to me. And though the cold does keep me moving with music, my other life-skills seem to suffer at it’s hand.

Waking up at quarter to six in the morning feels pretty good. I am sure I could make the same amount of money quicker selling crack rocks, but the manual labor is doing wonders for my health.

I hear more English being spoken walking the streets of my neighborhood than German. Hell, I hear more Swedish, French, Spanish, and Italian than I do German.

'I don't need to tell you how difficult it has been for smaller labels in the past few years. I don't want to argue the digital debate again, nor bemoan the sinking sales.'
