SLOW MOTION operates since 2005 as an event organization collective in the field of electronic music, club installation, visual art and disco dancing. Originally based in mid-Italy, it is now also one of the freshest and active organization in the Berlin night scene. The parties that we create and promote with SLOW MOTION are:

East Coast Disco, Wrong Era, Teenage from Mars, Retro Futuro. NuFunKlan.

The heads behind Slow Motion are a crew of friends from Pescara/Chieti with the same taste of music and many different ideas, which they bring together to form a unique musical atmosphere. Playing the best underground dance music , the resident DJs are highly delighted to host some of the most interesting international DJs, bands, musicians and live acts.

The 2010 is the year of the launch of the label “SLOW MOTION RECORDS”;

A high quality electronic dance platform for italian producers, has been lacking for some time, and so we wanted to take our time in finding the best possible music that represents the sound we love and the music of our parties. Fusing the best of a new breed of Italian producers like Clap Rules, Motorcycle Boy, Fabrizio Mammarella and Fratelli Riviera with serous heavyweights like Beppe Loda, Slow Motion Records represents the future sound of Italian disco.

The debut Ep "Slow Motion Volume 1" is exclusively distributed worldwide by Intergroove, achieving a strong consensus from the dance scene and major international artists and producers.

The second release, “Wrong Era EP” is set to catapult this small Italian label into the big time. This time around and it's all about the charms of Italy's very own Motorcycle Boy who delivers two stunning original tracks backed up with white hot remixes from The Heels of Love and old school disco hero Fabrizio Mammarella.

Label Focus with Slow Motion will air Thursday July 29th at 18:00, with repeats Friday at 12:00, and Sunday at 11:00.
