Agnès Artist Feature

Sthlmaudio Recordings, Drumpoet Community, and Sweat Lodge artist Agnès delivers the February edition of the Sweat Lodge Podcast and is featured this week on SLR.

Agnès is known for his usual deep, dubbed-out minimal techno productions and explores as well more house-influenced rhythms and textures. Agnès runs the Geneva-based label Sthlmaudio Recordings. Launched in 2003, Sthlmaudio has released tracks by Agnès, Puma, Octex, Apoll, Cabanne, Croatian producers Luka & Lazo and lately the Swiss duo Azuni. Agnès also had a well received EP on Cabanne's Minibar label ('Treat Me Bad') and upcomming releases in late 2006 on Plak Records, Einmaleins Musik and Perspectiv Records. He has recently started to collaborate with the Zurich based label Drumpoet Community under the moniker of Cavalier. He also released to date 2 EP under his Ray Valioso name for Real Soon Records in the UK.

Agnès is currently finishing up an EP under the moniker of Torpedoman. The EP will be brought out in 2012 on Agnès own Sthlmaudio Recordings label.

Artist of the Week: Agnès will air Tuesday February 21st at 18:00, with repeats Wednesday at 12:00, and Saturday at 10:00.
